The slides embedded on the Netflix Jobs page make for some fascinating reading. There’s a lot there that stands out, but Netflix’s policy for expensing, entertainment, gifts and travel from slide 71 is really great:
Act in Netflix’s best interests.
Those five words are literally the entire policy. I find it very uplifting that they actually treat their employees like adults.
